Interesting projects

This section provides some ideas of software projects that could be done and that would be very useful for a dipGame user. We encourage people to develop them and give support assistance. If you are interested and/or have any other new idea, share it with us at contact. Remember that we have no commercial interest. dipGame is a testbed for researchers to test their theoretical results on it. And for people to enjoy playing games either directly or with an autonomous bot.

- A multiplatform mapper There is only one mapper available that is compatible with DAIDE communication protocol. This is the AiMapper that, unfortunately, is a windows only application. A multiplatform mapper is needed. We propose to develop a plugin for jDip that makes it compatible with DAIDE using dipGame's tcp/ip connector tcpIpComm-0.1.2.jar. Thus, jDip players would be able to play games on the net and dipGame users would have a mapper that is multiplatform.
